Dear Friends,

I've been working on pranayama this morning, inspired by my musician friend, Alex, who was playing
with a flautist in the Village Saturday night. I went with a friend of mine and they were amazing!

  • Nadi Shodana -  alternate nostril breathing (pictured here)
  • the Lion's pose which everyone thinks is so fun
  • Kapalabhati - forceful expiration out of the nostrils, a fire breath that works on the manipura chakra which helps with transformation and strength

All of this work is very invigorating and helps me stay focused on my intentions. Come to my class at BIRD Thursday at 11:30 and I will be leading pranayama then.
